My Friends, Inside The Computer

I’ve brought up these people a lot. And some people even make repeat visits, like the one I’m going to tell you about today.(PS: She told me I didn’t have to blog about it, but frankly, I can blog what I want to- so take THAT, Tenille!)

(Please don’t kill me for this picture. I think you’re super cute!)

The Canadian bloggersphere is a somewhat small one. Contrary to popular belief we don’t know everyone who lives in Canada. It’s just that where the US have embraced blogging for years, Canada is playing catch up. I had the pleasure of meeting Tenille (the first time) when was in Toronto for a McDonald’s event. Since then we’ve had more opportunity to hang out!

Shortly after our first “real life” meeting, Tenille asked me if she could write about me for a new campaign from Walmart- Walmart’s Mom of the Year Award. When some people say “it’s an honour just to be nominated” yet deep down they’re grumpy, I really meant it.

Yet again, Tenille surprised me by buying my ticket for Blissdom Canada 2012 after I had asked when she was flying in, in hopes we could connect while she was here. She replied with something like “Just come to Blissdom” and I said “pay for my ticket” and she did. She’s crazy.

Again… Tenille looks super cute and there’s something wrong with my face.

I think she just likes keeping me on my toes because she wrote me yesterday asking for my address. In fact, she said “Address first, ask questions after, please” Earlier that day, I read a post from Julie after some bloggers learned a PR company was selling their names/addresses for $199.  So clearly, I had to tell her not to sell my address to the “worst bloggers ever” list. Good thing she gets my sense of humour.

After I complied and gave my address, Tenille sent me a link to this awesome looking Build-A-Bear and said “Happy Valentine’s day, hopefully the girls don’t already have this” Luckily, they don’t. But even still it would have been a hit here since Lauren has been asking for her own doll sized wheelchair and Jillian said she needed more than one.

It’s not often I’m left speechless, but Tenille seems to be pretty good at making me that way. Perhaps it’s a hint? ;) Thank you doesn’t seem like enough for you!

  3. I would’ve loved that as a child! My mom bought me a Barbie in a wheelchair. I adored it. My wheelchair actually matched the Barbie’s.
