Crap. I was tagged?

Remember those chain letters you got in high school? Or whenever? You know, copy the chain letter, send it to some of your friends so you could marry the man of your dreams or have a dream come true or tempt your fate with 7 years bad luck? Well, yeah. I never did those things. Maybe THAT’S why I have bad luck. The annoying evil awesome? (Yeah, I’ll go with awesome) Shan from Last Shreds of Sanity tagged me. And now, you get to read my answers. Lucky you!

Who do you want to play you in the movie biopic of your life?

I would love to have Julia Roberts play me, only because I have a girl crush on her (What? You don’t have girl crushes? you’re missing out. Seriously!) but, I don’t think she’d sign on for a movie about my life. 1) because I’m boring and 2) it wouldn’t make her much money. Then I thought about Kristen Stewart, but, I really can’t stand her acting (I mean. Have you SEEN the Twilight series?! It’s painful to watch!) I think I’ll go with Kristen Chenoweth. She’s shorter then I am, but she’s incredibly cute and her voice is amazing. I like to pretend I’m her in the shower. However, I CAN sing, just not as well as she can!

If you were stranded on a desert island, what two things could you not live without?

Can I say the internet? Oh and my laptop. So, I guess that’s 2 things. I wonder if I could try to make wine from coconuts or something because wine would make a deserted island MUCH more tolerable. (I know, I know. I’m a mom. I’m not bringing my kids. So sue me. I have 2 of them, that would use up my 2 things to bring. Plus, if I brought Adam, then my children would be parent-less and that’s just not fair. It’s not nice to leave them as orphans while Adam and I are running around a deserted island.) Notice how internet and laptop are there, but clothes are not? I’m truly hoping it’s DEFINITELY deserted because I don’t have the money to pay for people’s therapy that might see me nekkid.

Why did you start your blog?

For the free shit? No. Seriously. I started because we moved away from our family and friends in Nova Scotia and I thought it would be a good way to keep everyone informed about what we were doing in Ontario. I was a terrible writer then (I’m not much better now, but better then I was) and now I’m in it for the free shit. Ok, seriously. Mommy bloggers have this rap that we only like doing product reviews for the free stuff. I have to disagree with that statement, purely because I JUST started doing reviews/giveaways and they’re a lot of work!

If you had one day left to live, what would you do with it?

I’m going to Disney Land! Well, that’s probably not right. I have just always wanted to say that! I would probably do a very cliche thing and cuddle with my babies and make videos of me telling them how to live their life, since I won’t be around to nag at them. Oh and hang with Adam. And make videos of me telling him how to live his life, since I won’t be around to nag at him.

What one thing in your life do you wish you could go back and change and why?

I’d really like to have my grandmother back. But… what if she came back and she was a zombie? Or if she was happy in the “after life” and didn’t want to come back with me? I don’t know if I’d change anything, to be honest. I try not to live with regrets and everything that has happened in my life has a purpose. And it has helped shaped me to be the person I am today.

What is your biggest dream?

To see my children grow up and become successful members of society and hopefully see grand babies.

What do you want to be remembered as/for?

I don’t know! My infinite knowledge?! My ridiculousness? I just hope my children and grand children (hopefully) can carry on some awesome stories about me like I have about my grandmother.

What animal do you feel the most closely associated with and why?

A dog? No. I don’t tend to rub my bum on carpet. A cat? No… I don’t tend to chase meaningless things around. A bird? I wish. then I could just fly off when something pissed me off. I don’t know. This is a STRANGE question. Coming from Shan though, nothing surprises me.

What is your favorite season and why?

I LOVE fall. I love the pretty leaves, the sound dry leaves make when you walk on them, I love the crispness of the air, I love the smell of impending snow.

What is your favorite holiday and why?

Can I say Christmas because I like getting presents? Because I do. What only child DOESN’T like getting presents?! In all seriousness, Christmas is my favourite, only because I can see everything a second (or third time) through my children’s eyes.
